Day 01: Arrival Leh
Upon arrival at at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport Leh 11800 ft the capital of Ladakh & transfer to hotel & full day at rest for high altitude acclimatization which is must to settle yourself to the high altitudes of Ladakh. Evening take an easy walk to market to stretch yourself. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Leh – Ullleytokpo
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel drive to Ulleytokpo 70kms. En route visit to the Magnetic point, Indus & Zanskar river Sangam and the 1000 year oOVJPL paintings of Alchi monastery. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the Ulley Resort.
Day 03: Ulleytokpo – Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel drive to Leh. En route visit to Rizong Nunnery & Spituk monastery. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to military Hall of Fame, 16th century built Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa world peace pagoda. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Leh – Nubra Valley
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley 125km via crossing Khardongla Pass 18360 ft, the world highest motorable pass. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Diskit & Hunder Monasteries along with the 100ft tall Maitreya Buddha statue . Members will also visit the silvery sand dunes with perhaps a Double humped Camel Safari. Overnight at the Deluxe Camp / hotel.
Day 05: Nubra Valley – Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel visit to Samstanling Monastery. After visiting drive to Leh via Khardongla pass. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free in Leh bazaars for last minute shooping, in Leh items like pure Pashmina shawls, good pearls, Chinese cutleries and beautiful Ladakhi wooden handicrafts can be purchased. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Leh - Pangong Lake – Leh
After an early breakfast at the hotel full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. After visiting drive back to Leh. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Leh - Departure
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel transfer to KBR airport in time to board flight for onward destination.
