Overview: Ladakh is synonymous with Tibet in terms of its topography, architecture, script and its socio-religious traditions. Therefore this tour will reflect its rich traditions vis-à-vis its natural wealth.
Day 01: Arrival LehUpon arrival at at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport to Leh 11800 ft the capital of Ladakh & transfer to hotel & full day at rest for high altitude acclimatization which is must to settle yourself to the high altitudes of Ladakh. Evening take an easy walk to market to stretch yourself. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: In Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel visit to the 1000 year oOVJPL paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh. En-route visit to the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar rivers which are the two major rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and military Hall of Fame. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: In Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel visit to Khardongla Pass at 18360 ft-world highest motorable pass 48 km/ 2 hrs. Afternoon visit a local family in Stok village 17 kms/ 20 min to try home made butter tea and barley drink & Thiksey Monastery which enshrines the most photographed statue of Maitreya Buddha in India. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: In Leh
After an early buffet breakfast at the hotel full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km/4-5 hrs from Leh one of the most amazing Lakes in the entire Himalays which is nearly 140km long and 3-5km in width more than half of which lies in Tibetan territory. After visiting drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Leh - Departure
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel transfer to KBR airport in time to board flight for onward destination.
