Day 01: Arrival Leh
Upon arrival at at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport to Leh 11800 ft the capital of Ladakh & transfer to hotel & full day at rest for high altitude acclimatization which is must to settle yourself to the high altitudes of Ladakh. Evening take an easy walk to market to stretch yourself. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh – Lamayuru – Ulleytokpo
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel drive to Lamayuru Monastery 125km. En route visit to Basgo Castle and the Lunar Like landscapes near Lamayuru village. After visiting drive to Ulleytokpo. Overnight at the Ulley Resort.
Day 3: Ulley - Alchi - Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel drive to Leh. En route visit to Rizong Nunnery which is one of the largest nunneries in Ladakh, Indus & Zanskar river Sangam the two great rivers of Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and military Hall of Fame. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Late afternoon visit to the 16th century built 9 story high Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Leh - Khardongla Pass - Leh
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel excursion to Khardongla pass 40km at 18380 ft-the world highest motorable pass. After visiting drive back to Leh. Late afternoon visit to Moti market where you can shop for for some of the most interesting local jewelries and curios and local apricot bazaars etc. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
After an early breakfast at the hotel full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. After visiting drive back to Leh. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Leh - Departure
Morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel transfer to KBR airport in time to board flight for onward destination.
